Hi, I’m Kim — the proud owner and Event Director of Hyla Brook Estate! I graduated from Florida State University with a major in Business and Hospitality Management, which laid the foundation for my career in creating exceptional events. With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, my passion for creating unforgettable celebrations has taken me across the country, shaping my journey in ways I could have never imagined.

Here’s a little about my professional background:

• Catering and Convention Services Manager at the Hyatt Regency Maui in Hawaii: A dream role where I honed my skills in organizing over 500 world-class events in a breathtaking setting.

• Owner and Lead Planner of Kiss on the Chic Weddings and Events: For 15 years, I ran a full-service destination wedding planning company, working with clients across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. My time researching stunning venues like Hyla Brook Estate gave me invaluable insights into what makes an event truly special.

• Catering Sales Coordinator and Consultant for Deja Blu Catering: From intimate gatherings to grand affairs, I’ve learned the art of crafting culinary experiences that wow guests.

• Co-Owner and Event Director of Calla Catering and Events: Specializes in off-premise catering, with a focus on locally sourced, high quality ingredients, seamlessly planned and executed by an experienced catering team!

Over the years, I’ve coordinated more than 1,000 events, from the shores of New England to the tropical paradise of Hawaii. Now that’s a lot of champagne!

At Hyla Brook Estate, I bring a unique blend of expertise from working with venues, caterers, and wedding planning to ensure every detail of your celebration is seamless and spectacular. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate gathering, or a milestone celebration, we are here to help make your vision a reality.

I’m also thrilled to introduce my husband, Greg, who plays a vital role in making Hyla Brook Estate the beautiful venue it is today. As our Facilities Manager, Greg takes care of the estate’s landscaping, gardens, and building maintenance. His dedication and hard work are evident in the over 6,000 square feet of paver walkways and patios he personally installed, providing our clients with stunning outdoor spaces to enjoy ceremonies and cocktail hours surrounded by nature.

With more than 25 years of experience in landscape design and maintenance, Greg ensures that Hyla Brook Estate remains a breathtaking location for our clients to create cherished memories for years to come.
